Hazel Anderson is a Ph.D. student at Michigan State University Department of Integrative Biology & Ecology, Evolution, and Behavior Program. Her research looks at improving plant conservation through spatially quantifying multiple dimensions of plant biodiversity in the Neotropics. She is passionate about science communication and is involved as a member of the MSU Science Festival team and serves as the MSU SciComm Science Policy Chair.
