Application Workshops

CCSG and the Center for Large Landscape Conservation (CLLC) have developed an approach for preparing and conducting workshops to guide connectivity conservation planning across intact and fragmented ecosystems. The workshops are intended to apply and advance application of the IUCN Guidelines for conserving connectivity through ecological networks and corridors and other related best-practices through replicable and tailorable processes that bring together diverse stakeholders from subnational, national, regional, and international levels. Initially conducted in Romania, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and Quebec, the step-by-step approach engages participants in discussion, evaluation, and formulation of recommendations and actions for designing, governing, and managing more effective and enduring ecological corridors and networks.

We are always interested to engage in new collaborative efforts with partners to plan and execute effective delivery of workshops and recommendations in their countries and regions.
