About Lars Brudvig

Lars Brudvig is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Plant Biology at Michigan State University. Through his research, he seeks to inform landscape-scale ecosystem restoration, with particular focus on plant populations and communities. To do this, he evaluates how humans impact natural ecosystems, for example by destroying and fragmenting habitats, and then evaluating approaches to ecological restoration, including approaches to enhancing landscape connectivity through corridors and matrix restoration.
