Dr. Marcelo Lima recently presented a poster on the Connectivity Conservation Specialist Group at the Cambridge Conservation Forum’s (CCF) annual symposium. While there, Dr. Lima and Andrew Plumptre of the Wildlife Conservation Society spearheaded a new working group on connectivity conservation under the umbrella of Cambridge Conservation Initiative (CCI). This working group will promote discussions on ecological connectivity, and convene practitioners from a variety of fields. The CCI represents more than 60 conservation NGO’s, and some 2000 conservation practitioners, and hosts the annual Cambridge Conservation Forum.
